Bringing crypto to the world, with Everest founder Bob Reid

In this episode, I talk to Bob Reid, the co-founder and CEO of Everest. Everest is a crypto project aimed at bringing the unreached world into the fold, with solutions for ID, micro finance, record keeping, and more.

Welcome to Ledger Cast, hosted by me, Brian Krogsgard (@ledgerstatus on twitter), and in this episode I’m joined by a special guest, Bob Reid, the co-founder and CEO of Everest.

You can subscribe to new episodes of Ledger Cast on iTunes, on Google Play, on Stitcher, on YouTube and via RSS.

The information in this podcast should not be construed as investment advice, it is purely educational material and you should always do your own research before buying.

Bob Reid is the former GM of BitTorrent and he’s been involved in crypto for quite some time as well. He’s now undertaking a highly ambitious project with Everest — an all encompassing crypto project that includes micro-payments, record keeping, micro finance, identification, and more.

As you’ll hear in the interview, I call it EverID. They have since rebranded to Everest since it’s beyond the ID scope. It’s a multi token model that has what I believe to be a unique approach for garnering adoption.
