Don’t expect Bitcoin ETF approval soon, with Jake Chervinsky

Don’t expect bitcoin ETF approval in October, but it is the final deadline for the two current proposals. But that doesn’t mean the end of ETF hopes. I talk to Jake about this and much more.

In this episode, I talk to Jake Chervinsky about a variety of topics, particularly from his perspective as a lawyer. Jake is the General Counsel for Compound, though he appeared in the episode in a personal manner. I have followed Jake for a long time and always enjoyed his perspective.

We spend a good bit of the episode talking about the SEC’s process for reviewing and approving (or not approving) ETFs. We also discussed more general exchange regulation, the smart contract landscape, and more.
